Kim Anguiano's gallery is tucked upstairs at the Blue Star Arts Complex, and it's well worth seeking out.

Anguiano has turned her space into something closer to a fantasy wonderland — atmospheric paintings hung against sweeping murals, merging the entire room into a single work of art. The result feels refreshing, and refreshingly against the grain of the typical formal art show.
